Porter's Competitive Model
For this assignment, first read Porter's Five Forces Model.
Then, write a brief that explains Porter's Five Forces Model. In addition to explaining each of the five forces, your write up should explain several additional things. At a minimum, it should explain the history of Model and it should also explain how the Model can be used.
Then, watch the fourteen minute youtube video Designing for the Internet of Things by Rodolphe el-Khoury.
Finally, write a brief paragraph, or two, concerning how Cloud/Mobile Computing in general and “Designing for the Internet of Things” in particular may be used to gain a future competitive advantage. Use Porter's model as a guide.
